FAQ

A rotary-screw compressor is a type of air compressor that uses two rotors (helical screws) to compress the air. It has a female rotor and the male rotor. As the rotors start turning, air will get sucked in on one side and gets trapped between the rotors. Since the rotors are continuously turning, the air gets pushed to the other end of the rotors (the pressure side) and new fresh air gets sucked in. This air compression process is a continues sweeping motion so there's a little surging of flow which makes the screw compressor runs quiet and smooth.
